Kaizer Chiefs U20 has advanced to last 16 of Phillips Cup after beating their counterparts, Arcadia Shepards 5-4 on penalties. The last 32 match was played at Highveld College in Soweto on Saturday afternoon.

The match went to penalties after both teams failed to find the back of the net during the allocated time.

Kaizer Chiefs scored all their spot kicks through, Sandile Mjali, Mzuvele Skhosana, Lucky Khune, Siyanda Xulu and Ronald Mayila. Goalkeeper, Johnny Mathole did well to save one spot kick from the opposition sending the young Amakhosi to the next round of Phillips Cup.

Draw for next round will be conducted this week.
