Court rules in favour of Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs scored a victory at the Johannesburg High Court when the Court ruled in our favour by ordering the CEO of the PSL to postpone the Kaizer Chiefs/Sundowns game scheduled for Sunday 18th September 2005 to any future date. The High Court also ordered the PSL to pay the legal costs.

The Chairman Kaizer Motaung said this victory best serves the interest of football and promotes good governance amongst its administration. Kaizer Chiefs will henceforth focus on the SAFA Appeal Board to finalize the matter.

The Management of Kaizer Chiefs would like to thank the supporters, members of the public, all PSL clubs, in particular, Sundowns for expressing their sympathy during this trying period.
