Kaizer Chiefs Family in its totality would like to take this opportunity to send heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the late, Terrance Mophuting.

The tough as teak defender starred for the Glamour Boys in the late 80s succumbed to death on Monday, 1 December 2008 after a short illness. He remains the only player from neighbouring Botswana to have donned the famous gold and black jersey.

Kaizer Chiefs legend and his former teammate, Ntsie Maphike remembered Terrance as a gentleman who was devoted to his game.

“He was a very quiet guy, down to earth. He was never overwhelmed by the challenge of playing for Kaizer Chiefs. I remember that we used to laugh at him when he was trying to emphasise his point as he was speaking slowly but what a gentleman...may his soul rest in peace,” said the current Kaizer Chiefs U15 mentor.

The former Botswana international will be laid to rest at his home village, Kanye on Saturday, 06 December 2008.
