Kaizer Chiefs Board of Directors, Management, players and staff including the whole family in its totality would like to send earnest condolences to the families of Victor Mpaketsa (30) and Phillip Bhembe (31) who both died on Saturday in a car accident.

The two supporters from Ga Mongatana were travelling in a Quantam taxi to Peter Mokaba Stadium where the Glamour Boys were hosting Bidvest Wits University when they collided with a private car in Jane Furse on the Lebowakgomo Road in Polokwane.

“Our hearts are with the families of Mpaketsa and Bhembe families during this time of grief. This accident could not have happened at a worst of times as families around the country reunite to celebrate what has been an eventful year, 2010.

We hope that the families remain strong and on the same note we would like to wish those who got injured during the accident a speedy recovery,” said Corporate Communications Manager, Thebe Mohatle speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday morning.

Details on the funeral will be communicated in due course.
