The Chairman, the Management and the Kaizer Chiefs Family in its totality take this opportunity to convey their deepest condolences to the Royal family of iNkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi and the family of Walter Mokoena, on the loss of their loved ones.

INkosi Mangosuthu Buthelezi has lost his daughter, Princess Lethuxolo otherwise known as “Xolo” while SABC Sports Presenter, Walter Mokoena lost his mother, Betty Velephi Nene after a long illness.

Chiefs Chairman Kaizer Motaung said, “On behalf of Kaizer Chiefs Family as a whole we share the grief of both families, the Royal Family of Buthelezi and the Mokoena family. Our thoughts are with them during their time of need. We hope they are going to draw strength from the book of John 14 in overcoming this setback”
