Chairman and Managing Director, Kaizer Motaung described Cleopas Dlodlo this week as a ‘tough as teak defender who was dedicated to his job during his time with the Club’.



“Captain Chincha” was reacting to reports that the former Highlanders defender who passed on in Johannesburg a couple of days ago.



“He would never pull out of a tackle and no player wanted to go 50/50 with Cleopas. I wish to extend a message of condolence to his friends, relatives and all those who have been affected by his passing away.”



The Zimbabwean born defender who died at the age of 40, played for the Amakhosi between 1995 and 1997 before joining Soweto neighbours, Moroka Swallows.
