Siphiwe Tshabalala has backed his teammates to bounce back when they meet AmaZulu in an anticipated Absa Premiership clash at FNB Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Siphiwe Tshabalala will not take part in the game as he is sweating it out at Nottingham Forest where he is currently being assessed. He was forced to watch his teammates from the stands losing against Ajax Cape Town at Cape Town Stadium last Friday.

“I have no doubt that the boys will bounce back on Wednesday. It is important for us to keep in touch with the log leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns,” said speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Monday.

“I wanted to play so badly last Friday. I wanted to be out there on the on the pitch and fight it out with the boys. There was nothing I could do as I was suspended for the game. I feel that the guys gave everything but again in football sometimes things do not work out. I would like to wish them all the best against AmaZulu,”

Shabba added that he was looking forward to the challenge ahead and thanked the Club for providing him with an opportunity.

“I would like to thank Kaizer Chiefs for allowing me to go to Nottingham Forest. Also my manager, Jazzman Ramahlakane also played a significant role in me going to England. I am looking forward to the challenge. Nottingham is a Club with a very proud history. They have done quite well this season and last weekend they beat Portsmouth taking their unbeaten record at home to 32 games,”
