Kaizer Chiefs Football Club would like to reiterate the report released last month on kaizerchiefs.com that the upcoming Soweto derby between Kaizer Chiefs and its bitter rivals Orlando Pirates on 15 November will take place in Mafikeng.

There have been reports in several media that the derby will be held at Loftus. We categorically state that the reports are misleading and untrue.

Tickets for the derby in the North West have been opened and are currently on sale in various outlets of Shoprite/Checkers and Computicket countrywide.

Kaizer Chiefs would like to apologise for any inconvenience the reports might have caused to the thousands of supporters countrywide.
