They are the second Kaizer Chiefs team to play in an international tournament in South Korea following in the footsteps of the senior team that played in the 2003 Peace Cup.
At development level they are following in the footsteps of the under-15 side that took part in a similar youth tournament in Abu Dhabi earlier this year. The club believes tournaments like this will be a great experience for their development.
"Good luck to our under-13 development team that will be participating in a youth international tournament in South Korea. I wish them all the best of luck and I am sure they will carry our flag with pride.
"The only concern I have about this international youth tournaments is that we normally send teams in certain age groups only for opposition teams to bring over-aged players. However, I hope there will be fair play in the Korea tournament," said club chairman Kaizer Motaung.
