Kaizer Chiefs Development side landed safely in Zurich on Monday morning having jetted out of the country on Sunday evening.

Head of Delegation, Walter Steenbok speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday morning revealed that the team has received a warm reception in Zurich where they will be staying for the next three days before going to Holland.

“The reception we got here is unbelievable taking into consideration that this is only a development side. We had a loosening up session yesterday and played a friendly with fourth division side, Blue Stars. Even though we lost 2-0 it was a good experience for the boys and we will have another session at about 17h15 on Tuesday afternoon,” he revealed.

“The boys are very excited to be here and the staff at the Moeven Hotel where we are staying having been great to us. All the participating teams in the tournament will visit the FIFA Headquarters this afternoon. Later tonight (Tuesday), Ryder Mofokeng & I will attend a gala dinner to be addressed by the FIFA President, Sepp Blatter,” said Steenbok adding that the tournament will start on Wednesday, 12 May 2010.
