Football Manager, Bobby Motaung has confirmed to kaizerchiefs.com that the Amakhosi will do it again with Bloemfontein Celtic in this year’s edition of Macufe Cup set for Vodacom Park on October 11. Kick off for the clash is at 15h30.

The two sides met in an exciting Absa Premiership encounter last Wednesday and they did not disappoint the 41 000 screaming fans who came out to witness the game.

Bobby Motaung believes that the game will help the team to keep the momentum taking into consideration that on that particular there are no fixtures owing to Bafana Bafana game against Norway.

“We have been playing almost two games each and every week so this game is going to help us sharpen our arsenal ahead of our game against Mamelodi Sundowns on the 17th October 2009. It is also a pleasure for us to return to Bloemfontein as the game on Wednesday showed how passionate people in the area are about football.”

There is no doubt that Bloemfontein as the World Cup approaches is showing its readiness in terms of hosting big events. At Chiefs we are very excited to be playing in this edition of Macufe Cup,” said Bobby Motaung.

The curtain raiser will see Kaizer Chiefs legends taking on their counterparts in what promises to be a fun filled day at Vodacom Park.
