Chiefs to keep fingers crossed for Rooi

Kaizer Chiefs coach, Muhsin Ertugral will have to keep their fingers crossed for the centre defender, Thabang Rooi who sustained an injury in Saturday’s win against Maritzburg United.

The reliable defender had to make way for teammate, Valery Nahayo late in the game.

Rooi has been rock solid since making his debut for the Club against Bidvest Wits back in November. Last Saturday he was once again at his solid best as he helped the Amakhosi to keep another clean sheet.

Chiefs Physiotherapist, Dave Milner told kaizerchiefs.com that the player should be ready to take the field in this weekend's mouth-watering clash away to Ajax Cape Town.

“Thabang got a knock on the outside of his leg. It is not a serious injury but we will asses him during the week and make a decision from there,” he said.
