The Glamour Boys are currently third on the latest Telkom Charity Cup standings with 2645 votes.

The Amakhosi who lost to Orlando Pirates final will be hoping once again to be part of the preseason football spectacle that will be celebrating its 10th year anniversary with Telkom and its 23rd edition since its inception in 1986.

Public Relations Manager, Thebe Mohatle called the Kaizer Chiefs faithful to continue to vote the Club in to the event that is aimed at raising 5 million for the disadvantaged.

“The Club is coming back from a convincing victory in Port Elizabeth this weekend and the Telkom Charity tournament will once again give the Technical Team an opportunity to continue looking at different combinations ahead of the upcoming season.

The Charity Cup also augurs well with the role the Club has always played in giving back to the community,” said Thebe who replaced Siyabulela Makunga as a PRM on Friday.

The Charity Cup will be played at Ellis Park on Saturday 01 August 2009.
