Kaizer Chiefs will play their Absa Cup round of 16 match against Wits University at Soccer City on Match 13, the Premier Soccer League’s cup committee announced on Wednesday.
It will be a tough test of character for Amakhosi, who are already stretched to the limit by African Champions League commitments. Amakhosi are already under pressure to do well in this competition after battling in the past two years.
Wits proved to be some kind of a nemesis but Chiefs prevailed in the 2003 Coca-Cola Cup semifinals winning 3-0 on the day following a rain-interrupted match at Soccer City.
