Prior to the October 29 game against Pirates the Amakhosi camped at an exclusive retreat in the mountain resort, this time around Chiefs have gone for calm waters. Chiefs have been in camp at a picturesque resort on the banks of a famous river since Tuesday and returned after their 5-2 victory over Free State Stars to their base, which will be home to the team until they depart on Saturday morning for the FNB Stadium.
Chiefs have been training away from the Village and all team activities have been happening there, coach Ernst Middendorp commenting on the reason for once again taking his side out of the city limits said. “ With such an important game coming up there are just to many distractions in Johannesburg - I need the team to be focused on the job that we are faced with.
Amakhosi will be looking to take another three points off the seas robbers after beating them at the end of October, which will see Pirates lead at the top of the PSL substantially mowed down. The game is scheduled to kick off at 15h45pm on Saturday 10th December at the FNB Stadium.
