Kaizer Chiefs communications manager Putco Mafani has written a strong letter to the SABC requesting clarity on derogatory comments allegedly their sports presenter Walter Mokoena about striker Collins Mbesuma.

Dear Mr . Mbebe,

We refer to the above mentioned subject in reference to our player Collins Mbesuma and the comments apparently made by SABCsport presenter Walter Mokoena about him.

Mr. Mokoena is alleged to have made derrogatory statements about the player during the post match analysis while chatting with fellow presenter Mzimasi Mgebisa refering to the player's inability to speak English because he is "uneducated and a drop out from school, wondering what grade he made", according to the allegations.

We take these allegations very seriously and subsequently request a tape of this particular discussion within two days for verification thereof.
