Kaizer Chiefs Head of Security and Logistics Thami Myaluza received an award recently from the Rotary Association of South Africa, for his work in the community in helping unemployed individuals get temporary jobs working as security personnel at football matches. Added to that he has also helped a number of the temporary staff members get funding and helped them obtain diplomas which has allowed for them to be employed full time in the security industry.

Described as a passionate person whose dedication to his job and to helping those working under him has lead many to see him as a father figure, he has also helped change and enrich many peoples lives through the employment opportunites he has offered them. Thami though takes the more humble approach and when speaking to kaizerchiefs.com about being rewarded for his work in enriching the lives of many. Myaluza said, “I am grateful that rotary have acknowledged the work I have done, just knowing day by day that through the opportunity I have at Chiefs I can make a difference in peoples lives gets me up every morning”.
