League champions Kaizer Chiefs revealed on Friday the signing of Zimbabwean Cephas Chimedza from championship winning side CAPS United.



“The huge gab in the left back poisitio has finally been filled and I am proud to announce the signing of a highly qualified player in the Zimbabwean,” said Chiefs team manager Bobby Motaung on Friday. “We have finally found a solution for the left back position.



“Chiefs is proud to be associated with a player of Chimedza's calibre. He is an international player who has also played for a league championship winning side CAPS United.”



Chinedze is said to have signed a three-year deal with the Naturena-based outfit with an option of a fourth year.



The left-back will be officially unveiled in the annual Vodacom Challenge later on in the year, said Motaung.
