Chiefs sign Sthembiso Ngcobo

Whilst the focus is currently on the World Cup, Kaizer Chiefs moved swiftly to secure the services of Sthembiso Ngcobo, the crack striker from Free State Stars Football Club.

Following close and protracted negotiations, Ngcobo signed a three year contract that commences in the new season.



Reputedly a dangerous and predatory player, the star expressed his excitement over joining the mighty Amakhosi to beef their striking department. Further developments on player movements will be announced in due course.



Meanwhile, the Head of the Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Programme; Walter Steenbok resigned from his post on Tuesday 15th June 2010 after agreeing terms with Mamelodi Sundowns Youth Academy.

The management and staff of Kaizer Chiefs wish Mr. Steenbok success in his future endeavours.
