Meanwhile, Abel Shongwe still mourning the sudden departure of his dearest mother took time to send a message of condolences to the family of his former teammate at Swallows Joseph Rapelego who passed away on Tuesday after allegedly taking his own life.

“It has been a very painful week, losing a former teammate and my mother,” said “Chacklas”.

“I knew Joseph (Rapelego) very well having played with him for two seasons in the 90s at Swallows. He was a very quiet boy and would never hurt even a fly. When I watched Zinedine Zidane in the past years he reminded me more of “Manelo” who was also a great footballer. I am still shocked with the news of his sudden departure and I would like to take this opportunity to sent my heartfelt condolences to the Rapelego Family,” he added.
