Kabamba Musasa helped Kaizer Chiefs to a 2-2 draw in a PSL clash against Supersport United in a match played at the HM Pitje Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday afternoon.

The striker scored an equaliser with only three minutes left on the clock, moments after Supersport striker Abram Raselemane had just scored his second goal of the match to thrust the home into the lead for the first in the encounter.

In a match that kicked off at 16h00 due to a heat-wave experienced through the country for the past week or so, Chiefs veteran midfielder and former Bafana Bafana player, John 'Shoes' Moshoeu grabbed the opening goal six minutes into the second half, after a goalless first half.

However, Raselemane cancelled it out when he converted a loose ball inside the Chiefs penalty box and leveled the score ten minutes later.

The 24-year-old Raselemane, nicknamed Fire, was on hand moments later to receive a cross from the left by Patrick Moyo, and headed past the surging Brain Baloyi, to give Pitso Mosimane's charges the lead with 15 minutes of play left.

Just when the home supports through they their team bagged maximum points and regain the top spot on the league table, the ever-green Musasa put an end to their celebrations when he beat an off-side and dribbled past Johnson to calmly slotted the ball into the back of the net.

The results did nothing to improve the positions of both teams on the log as United are still second with 32 points from 18 matches, while the Naturena-based outfit is still sixth with 27 points from 16 outings.

It is Chiefs first draw of the year, and their third of the season having previous defeated the likes of Ajax Cape Town, Sundowns and Bush Bucks in the last three matches.
