Football Manager, Bobby Motaung has revealed that striker Ibe Zito Ogbonna is now a free agent having been issued with his clearance by the Club effective end of 2008/9 season.
The burly striker joined the Glamour Boys back in November and scored four goals in ten appearances last season.
“I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Chairman, Mr. Motaung and the Club to thank him for the contribution he has made during his short stint with the Club. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” he told kaizerchiefs.com on Friday afternoon.
The Nigerian born striker who earned nickname “Obamma” from the Chiefs faithful made his last appearance from the Club when he came on as a substitute against Santos on the 6 May 2009.
