Kaizer Chiefs registered a 4-1 victor in penalty shootouts against Botswana side Township Rollers in front of a 20 000 vociferous crowd in Gaborone on Saturday.
The match ended 1-1 after regulation time with Youth Academy graduate Lucy Mzizi giving Amakhosi the equaliser after the Botswana side had taken the early lead.
Defender Patrick Mabedi, Fabian McCarthy, strikers David Radebe and Collins Mbesume converted their kicks to ensure a 4-1 victory in a tournament dubbed “show you care” to highlight the plight of HIV/Aids.
