Chiefs players and personnel called up for national duty

Five Kaizer Chiefs players and two technical officials have been called up to represent South Africa in the 2021 AFCON Qualifiers during this FIFA International break.

In this FIFA break, coach Molefi Ntseki called up centre back Erick Mathoho and midfielder Lebogang Manyama in his Bafana Bafana squad. Ntseki also roped into his technical staff, the services of Chiefs’ video analyst Vaughan Coetzee and to assist him, Ntseki called for the services of the Reserves team coach Arthur Zwane.

Bafana Bafana will travel to Ghana to play against Ghana on 14th November and then host Sudan in South Africa on 17th November.

Nigeria has called up their jersey number 16 and on-form goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi. Akpeyi and the Super Eagles will play against Benin Republic in Nigeria on 13th November and then travel to play against Lesotho on 17th November.

Zambia has called up Lazalous Kambole in their squad. Chipolopolo will play against Algeria in Algeria on 14th November and then on the 19th take on Zimbabwe in Lusaka.

Zimbabwe has called up Khama Billiat to their squad. The Warriors will play their SADEC neighbouring countries as they host Botswana on the 15th November and travel across the border to visit Zimbabwe on the 19th.
