Kaizer Chiefs have moved to secure the services of emerging starlet, Donay Jansen, for the next three seasons with the offer of an improved contract that will see the talented young wing-back remain at Naturena until the end of June 2027.

Jansen's journey with Amakhosi began as a Kaizer Chiefs Youth Development Academy player, where he honed his skills and showcased his potential in the youth ranks. His hard work and dedication paid off when he earned a promotion to the senior team during the course of last season.

Since being drafted into the senior team late in the campaign, where he made two noteworthy appearances, Jansen has been a dynamic presence in the squad, bringing flair, speed and creativity to the teams defending and attacking flank.

Coaches and supporters alike have been impressed with Jansen's performances for the U23s in the DStv Diski Challenge (DDC), often citing his ability to take on opponents, deliver precise crosses, and contribute to the team's goal-scoring efforts. His hard work and determination make him one to look out for as a potential star of the future.
