The Kaizer Chiefs under-16 development side collected a bronze medal with their 2-1 win against Al Wahda in the third place play-offs of the Zayed International Youth Cup on Tuesday.

Goals by Nkayiso Zuke and man-of-the-match Lebo Ramosela were enough to grant the junior Glamour Boys a well-deserved victory. Ramosela collected a cellphone for his individual achievement.

The Amakhosi lads had to settle for bronze after they were beaten 3-0 by Sao Paulo on Monday. It was tough match for the youngsters and a real test of character as they were reduced to 10-man following a somewhat dubious red card handed to their keeper.

The burley South Americans proved a tough nut to crack, unshakeable off the ball as they bulldozed their way to the final. But Chiefs collected another individual award with Sibusiso Msomi taking the man-of-the-match award.

The team will be on the morning flight to Johannesburg and is expected to touch down at 16:30.
