The Glamour Boys were hard at work on Thursday morning ahead of what promises to be a thrilling encounter when Free State Stars visit FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.

The 4th placed Glamour Boys are yet to lose a game at FNB Stadium this season and beat Orlando Pirates the last time they played there back in September.

Speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Thursday, Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic said; “we are expecting a tough game against Free State Stars on Saturday. They have always been a tough side to play against and they also have a good coach in Steve Kompela.

“We are focusing on our preparations. Our aim is to win the last two games. The mood in the camp is very high. The players as professionals understand the importance of this game. We are playing at home so it will be important to give the fans something to cheer about. We need to keep on winning our games to stay in touch with the leading pack.

The Serbian said he is still confident of bringing the league title to Naturena this season; “It is our objective to win the league and that has not changed.

“We started the season on a high and perhaps the loss against Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 final broke the momentum a little bit. We are however back on track now, and you can see the optimism in this team.

The Amakhosi will take the field without suspended Jimmy Tau on Saturday; “We have been trying different combinations in the absence of Lawrence Molekwane and Brent Lawler. We have a couple of guys who can play there so we should cope just fine,” added ‘VV’.

Kick off for the game is at 20:00
