Development Coach, Ryder Mofokeng has described the mood in the camp as ‘super’ ahead of the Metropolitan Premier Cup opener against Baltic Rangers.

Kick off for the Group G game is at 18h45 at Belhar near Bellville.

“We had training this morning and everyone is fired up for the game. We had an opportunity to watch Rangers play last night, they are big boys but we can definitely match them,” said Mofokeng.

Mofokeng’s words were echoed by captain, Tshepo Tolo, “Preparations have gone very well since arriving here in Cape Town. We know that Rangers will be motivated to beat us…we also want to do well.

"We have the likes of Nkululeko “China” Tshangana and Andile Khwabe who both played in the tournament last year. Their experience will go a long way in helping us achieve our objective…to do well in this tournament,” said the Daveyton-born player.

Meanwhile prolific striker, Andile Nqabeni will miss the tournament due to a hamstring injury.
