Amakhosi return to the FNB Stadium on this bitterly cold evening in Johannesburg for their second Betway Premiership match of the season, against Sekhukhune United, now led by former Chiefs coach Cedric Kaze.

Babina Noko arrive in a buoyant mood, having won both their opening league fixture and their MTN8 quarterfinal. Chiefs, meanwhile, began the campaign positively with a victory away at Kruger United, but were eliminated from the MTN8 on Sunday. Head coach Fernando Da Cruz will be eager to make amends and maintain a perfect league record tonight.

With three matches in six days, coach Da Cruz has opted for rotation, making five changes to the side that started against Golden Arrows on Sunday. Dillan Solomons replaces Thabiso Monyane in defence, while Sibongiseni Mthethwa comes in for Adolph Mtasingwa. Asanele Velebayi earns his first start of the season, taking the place of Mfundo Vilakazi, while Langelihle Phili, who impressed as a substitute on debut, starts ahead of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo. Up front, Etiosa Ighodaro leads the line in place of Wandile Duba.

Chiefs will line up in a 4-1-4-1 formation this evening.

The back four consists of Reeve Frosler on the left, Zitha Kwinika and Inacio Miguel in central defence, with Solomons on the right.

Mthethwa is in midfield just ahead of the defence. In the more advanced roles, Lebohang Maboe and Luke Baartman provide creativity and attacking thrust, with Phili operating on the left wing and Velebayi on the right.

Leading the attack as the lone striker is Ighodaro.
