Chiefs have once again been invited to take part in the Macufe Cup, which they won last year when they defeated Celtic by two goals to one.

The Macufe Cup to be contested on the Sunday 9th October marks the culmination of a week long of cultural and other festivities in Bloemfontein in the free State.

Last years clash between the Amakhosi and Celtic was a sell out and the organisers are confident that this year’s encounter will be no different.

The game is played under a good festive atmosphere with players turning on the style and trickery to entertain the crowds, which provides a good opportunity to see the Amakhosi display exhibition style football in a Cup Final environment.
