The long-awaited clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Jomo Cosmos is at hand, with Durban’s Absa Stadium this time serving as the battle field in Saturday’s clash.

In commemoration of this August being Women’s Month, two of South Africa’s hottest female musical talents are sure to keep both sets of supporters on their feet, regardless of how their respective teams perform on the field.

Talent profiles:

 DJ Cndo

Durban’s house music scene has produced yet another whizz-kid. This time around, it’s 23-year- old DJ Cndo, who is the latest rage on the city’s party scene. Born Sindisiwe Zungu in Mandeni, Kwazulu-Natal, Cndo’s early love for music pushed her into her career.

One of few female DJs, Cndo (pronounced Sin-doh) started her career with DJs Tira and Sox, who record music as Durban’s Finest. Finest Lady of House Volume 1 is her first album.

Born an Amakhosi 4 Life fan, the highlight of her career was her performance at this year’s Vodacom Challenge in front of thousands of fans during the Kaizer Chiefs vs. She cannot wait for Saturday to dazzle throngs of fans at the Kaizer Chiefs vs Jomo Cosmos game at Absa Stadium.

Bongi Dube:

Bongi Dube is the new, fresh-voiced singing diva to emerge on the Durban house scene and her debut album 'Ngifuna Wena 'is nothing short of a dance-floor cracker!

With slowed up, sexy, thumping beats, sultry soaring vocals, catchy melodies and top production, the album will place Bongi firmly on the dance world's map.

Her long-time production friend Bheki Dlamini has produced all of Bongi's work for her. Bheki has had great success for his production work with DJ Bongz from the EMI dance stable and it was through this channel that he originally met Bongi, whilst they were searching for a vocalist to lend her voice to a track. In 2006 her single 'Ngifuna Wena' was featured on IGAGASI FM dance/kwaito compilation alongside Durban's finest names. Bongi and Bheki have re-worked the track for her 11-track album.

She is presently number ONE on Ukhozi FM, no. 3 on Lesedi FM, and Lesedi FM are profiling her next week as their part of women’s month. Bongi is ready to dazzle fans at the home game against Jomo Cosmos this coming Saturday.
