Kaizer Chiefs recently visited the Carroll Shaw Memorial, a haven of troubled youth from disadvantaged communities to donate R15000 towards their Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation programme.

The Centre has been the focus of the Club’s Corporate Social Investment Programme for over a time since it was launched. Many young people catered for have been adversely affected by challenges including drug and alcohol abuse, HIV/AIDS, poverty and many other socio-economic ills.

In presenting the cheque, the Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Manager, Ms. Jessica Motaung recommitted the Amakhosi’s CSI programme to cover the incumbent season to assist in the best possible manner, the centre’s objectives.

Several youngsters that were present to receive the donation expressed their appreciation and assured Kaizer Chiefs that they were determined to mend their ways particularly when they receive help from Kaizer Chiefs.
