Hundreds of thousands worth of counterfeit were burnt into flames just next to Peter Mokaba Stadium on Wednesday, 28 September 2011 ahead of the encounter against Golden Arrows.
The work to confisticate counterfeit goods started last season from Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung who was at the scene to burn down the stuff.
“The stuff we were burning today is stuff that has been collected in our last five games we have played here in Polokwane. We were doing this in partnership with SAPS and I am grateful to them for their support in helping us on our attempt to eradicate the sale of ‘fong kong’ products.
