Kaizer Chiefs Management, Staff and players reacted differently to the news that Chiefs will take on Sundowns in the Telkom Charity Cup on Saturday. Sundowns who have bolstered their sides with top signing including former Kaizer Chiefs utility player, Derrick Spencer are making a come back in this year’s competition after missing out last year.



The first was Manager Security and Logistics, Thami Myaluza, “Sundowns?” he reacted. “What are you saying? If you say it is fine then it is fine with me,” he said laughing.



Club’s receptionists, first Portia Mosiuoa said she was excited with the draw, “Mhmmm, exciting. I cant’ wait for the game”. Mbali Khongela sitting next to her said, “I like it, thanks we are meeting Sundowns”



Supporters Relations Manager, Cecil Motaung who thanked the supporters for voting, “Ja! Eeish, I will be happy after beating Orlando Pirates in the final” he said laughing.



Education and Skills Manager, Thebe Mohatle said, “It does not matter…we want them, we were actually looking for them. They must bring everyone including the new signings”



Brand Manager, Dara Carroll who celebrated her birthday yesterday was back at the office in Naturena this morning. Kaizerchiefs.com approached her on how she feels about the draw conducted yesterday, “Shu! (Taking a deep breath). It is going to be fun” she said before concentrating on her PC.



Mingi Motaung an Assistant Kit Manager was at ease, “Sundowns…abangothusi (I am not scared)”



Battles between the two sides have always been close contested games that bring lot of excitement to the media and football fanatics alike and the Saturday’s encounter will not be different.
