Once again Kaizer Chiefs is participating in the 2004 edition of the SoccerEx, the most renowned international soccer exposition with focuses on the business & the development of the football.



Kaizer Chiefs is the only South African football club to have taken part in the expo showcasing their brand to the over 2000 registered delegates.



The PSL this year has also taken a stand and is showcasing all its properties to the international football market which is present at the fair.



"We are very proud to be participating in the Expo this year again as the only South Africa club together with the PSL. This objective of participating in the SoccerEx falls in line with the vision of the club & is part of the Brand & International Marketing strategy for the season," comments Vivian Casaletti, Brand Manager.



"Next year we will be celebrating 35 years of Kaizer Chiefs and we have great plans & we look forward in building on the opportunities that exist in this international global market that the SoccerEx offers".



SoccerEx is the perfect platform to establish business relationship, to make contacts & exploit commercial opportunities.



The opening ceremony took place this morning and the SoccerEx was officially opened by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and all participants & delegates were welcomed by Mohammed Bin Hamman, President of the Asian Football Confederation, Tony Martin the Chairman of Soccer Ex & by Rashid Kamali from SoccerEx Middle East.



The 1st Day of conference is well on its way with a Commercial Pannel Debate which include representatives from Inter Milan, Nike, Sportfive, Newcastle Utd., Chelsea & Jerome Valcke which is the Director of TV & Marketing of Fifa.



"The Chiefs stand is very prominent and is very well visited so far, we look forward to consolidating the relationships established last year and further our penetration in the international football market through our holistic marketing strategy which obviously includes our presence in many global football events such as this one" stated Jessica Motaung Marketing Manager.



This is the first day of Expo and the excitement is evident especially considering the calibre of the people attending this year.
