‘Chief’ Motaung applauds the fans response

Supporters Relations Manager, Cecil Motaung paid tribute to the fans after the Amakhosi climbed to the first spot in the Telkom Charity Cup votes on Wednesday night.

Chiefs currently lead the charts with 12 366 votes followed by Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic.

“We would like to applaud the way our fans have responded to the Club’s call to vote to ensure that we join the big party on Saturday, 07 August 2010,” said Motaung speaking to kaizerchiefs.com.

‘The Chief’ as Cecil Motaung is affectionately known in football circles warned however against complacency, “There is still a long way to go and we cannot relax on our laurels. We need to continue voting by calling or send an sms during breaks at work,” he added.

Fans can continue voting for Chiefs by calling from a Telkom line 086 22 22 506, card phone or sms the name KAIZER CHIEFS to 34620 before 1 August 2010.
