The Amakhosi get the defence of their PSL title back on track this weekend as they travel to KWA-ZULU Natal to take on Classic. The game which was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday evening in Maritzburg has been moved and will be played in Durban on Sunday afternoon.

Chiefs will now face Classic at the Kings Park Soccer Stadium in Durban at 15h15 on Sunday the 2nd April; tickets for the game will be out later in the week and will be available from Shoprite and Checkers Stores nationwide as well as Computicket outlets around South Africa.

The PSL has cited security concerns for the change in venue from the Harry Gwala Stadium in Maritzburg to the larger Kings Park Soccer Stadium in Durban; the league has said that the South African Police Services would prefer the game to be played during the day time.

Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp says the change in venue is not a major concern, “it is not anything serious for us in terms of preparation for the game, the only thing that could be of any worry is that it might be warmer in Durban during the afternoon than playing in Maritzburg at night”.

After this weekend’s fixture the Amakhosi will have three more PSL matches to play, two of those will be at home and the one away game will be against Silver Stars in Rusternburg.
