Our league programme is finally over. We had a great and exciting game against Wits on Wednesday. Ted (Dumitru) threw a lot of youngsters in at the deep end.
Obviously, it was the first time they had played together without some of the senior players and regulars. I think they acquitted themselves very well, particularly in the first half.
The rhythm was interrupted by the two substitutions in the second half, but otherwise I think they did very well against a team of Wits' calibre.
