Chairman & Managing Director, Kaizer Motaung has called for ‘cool heads’ ahead of Bafana Bafana fixture this coming weekend against Madagascar.

SAFA and coach, Joel Natalino Santana has come under fire from some sections of the media who have been calling for his head following six defeats in a row.

Writing in his column on Friday, Kaizer said, “Whoever is fueling this furnace must surely be examined particularly at this crucial moment when the focus should be on supporting the team instead of destabilizing preparations. I would like to suggest that we refrain from entertaining such critics that obviously add no value towards our difficult cause in 2010.”

“Captain Chincha” has joined few influential personalities including country’s president of the Republic, Jacob Zuma who this week called on South Africans to rally behind Bafana Bafana with 265 days before the kick off of the 2010 World Cup tournament in South Africa.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Motaung Sr has congratulated Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Siphiwe Tshabalala on their call up to the national team and wished the team all the best against Madagascar.
