With the African Nations Cup in full swing, soccer lovers around the continent have been glued to their television screens as the best Africa has to offer to battle to be crowned kings of the continent.

While the those participating in Egypt are in full cry the PSL has been recess, a break which began on the 22nd December and when play resumes in February most of the clubs would have been inactive for seven weeks.

The long break poses a problem for coaches as to how to keep their players match fit, the Amakhosi always a step ahead have arranged a number of friendly games in order to keep the players active during the break.

This began when Chiefs took on Russian side FC Moscow in a friendly game this past Saturday, Chiefs will continue to remain active with a friendly game this Saturday the 28th January against Bloemfontein Celtic in Port Elizabeth.

The game between Chiefs and Celtic will be played at the Eastern Province Rugby Ground formerly known as Telkom Park and before that the Boet Erasmus Stadium.

Tickets for the game have remained at R20 the price supporters have been paying for Chiefs home PSL matches all season long; kick off for the game will be at 19h45, supporters in the friendly city have been urged to arrive early, as gates will be opening at 16h00.

Chiefs will be travelling back to the coast following weekend when the Amakhosi will be in Cape Town to afford fans in the mother city the opportunity to see them in action as they take on Ajax Cape Town in an exhibition game.

The Amakhosi will face the Urban Warriors at Newlands Rugby Stadium on the 5th February and kick off for this game is at 15h45.
