Kaizer Chiefs striker, Abia Nale has told kaizerchiefs.com that he is not expecting to be booed by Golden Arrows fans when he comes up against his former side for the first time on Wednesday evening.

The Vaal born striker joined the Glamour Boys in a closely contested move from Golden Arrows in January this year.

He has since established himself at Naturena as one of the most talked about players this season.

“I do not think they will boo me,” said Nale shaking his head.

“I had a very good relationship with Golden Arrows fans. I continue to respect everyone associated with the club. I am still friends with some the players there and I speak to them regularly. I will always be thankful to Ms. Madlala for taking care of me while I was with the club.

“I am not in control of what happens in my life, God is - He had a plan for me and part of his plan was that I join Kaizer Chiefs,” said Nale.

Nale who has not yet found the back of the net for the Club, said he was looking forward to the game, “We have to win for sure,” he said.

“Arrows have been playing very good football this season and they can be dangerous. People have been talking about the game we lost on the weekend - that is now in the past,”

“I have said it - that I can’t wait to score my first goal for the Club. I have come close to scoring on a couple of occasions but I am not going to put myself under pressure to score against my former Club. It is not about me but the rest of us at Chiefs. We have all been working hard to return back to our winning ways,” he concluded.
