Two goals by budding new star, Neo Bohloko, earned Amakhosi a come-from-behind 2-1 win over AmaZulu in a tightly contested DStv Diski Challenge encounter on Sunday.
The 15-year-old sensation equalised in the 37th minute before scoring what turned out to be the winner one minute into referee’s added time at the end of the first half, after Chiefs had fallen behind 18 minutes into the match.
The result keeps coach Vela Khumalo’s side within touching distance of the leading pack. They maintain fourth spot, with 30 points from 16 games, five behind the leaders in the national U-23 league.
Young Amakhosi will take a lot of confidence from the resilience and determination they demonstrated against Usuthu into their next fixture, a tricky away game against SuperSport United on Saturday, 10 February, kicking off at 15:00.
