Goalkeeper Brian Baloyi had the supporters and the technical staff worried when he required medical attention six minutes into the Castle Premiership match against Sundowns at Ellis Park on Saturday.

The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper received treatment on the field and as Rowen Fernandez was preparing to step in, Baloyi was declared fit to carry on four minutes later.

At post match conference, Baloyi said he had difficulty breathing. After receiving treatment the Amakhosi keeper appeared superb and produced one of his finest performances to keep Sundowns at bay.

"I cannot really say much about this but I had the same problem prior to the 1998 African Nations Cup but I will be going for further tests to find out what could be the cause," said Baloyi.

However, coach Ted Dumitru said he suspected that the condition could have been triggered by something he ate prior to the match. "Do you mean food poisoning?" one journalist asked to which Dumitru responded; "You said it."
