Thomas 'Rambo' Sweswe has sent a warning on his Kaizer Chiefs teammates on duty for Bafana Bafana that they should not expect any favours from him when they come face to face in an international friendly match on Wednesday night.

Thomas Sweswe, together with his teammates, Tinashe Nengomasha, Knowledge “Mr. Goals” Musona and Jimmy Jambo has been named in the Zimbabwean squad to take on Bafana Bafana at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Wednesday night. Kick-off is at 8:30pm.

“We are taking the game seriously,” Sweswe, told kaizerchiefs.com before boarding for a flight to Durban to join the rest of his national team teammates.

“We last played a game when we failed to qualify for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations currently underway in Angola and now we are preparing for the next CAN in 2012. The coach has picked a good team with a nice blend of both experience and younger players. Some of the guys currently playing in Zimbabwe will be looking at impressing scouts here in South Africa but we also want to win the game for the pride,” he said.

Thomas Sweswe, rated as one of the best defenders in the Premier League, said he was also looking forward to coming up against with some of his Chiefs teammates in the Bafana Bafana squad.

“They should not expect any favours from any one of us. If you look at it you might have something like seven players all from Chiefs but we will only renew our acquaintances after the final whistle,” he said laughing.

On the other hand it is good for the team to have a couple of international players representing their respective countries. We all know after this game we are going back to the Village as we have a tough schedule ahead of us in the Premier League,” he added.
