Kaizer Chiefs squad was back in business on Monday under the watchful eye of coach, Vladimir Vermezovic in preparation for the season, 2009/2010.

The Glamour Boys are hoping to better last season where they won the MTN8 and finished 3rd on the log with five points adrift on champions, Supersport United.

“It was nice to get things underway this morning. There is not much I can say about the players at this stage but I noticed that everyone is looking forward to giving their best for the Club,” Vermezovic told kaizerchiefs.com following his first training session with the players.

The new players, mid-cum striker Mthokozisi Yende, right back Mbooi Tshifiwa, Zimbabwean trio, central defender Thomas Sweswe, young sensation Knowledge “Sense” Musona and flying left back, Zhiamu Jambo had an opportunity to train for the first time with their teammates.

The team departed for a 10-day training camp after the training session.

“I am hoping to get to know the players during the camp, learn to pronounce their names and of course push them hard in the next couple of days,” added the coach.

Meanwhile, Football Manager Bobby Motaung revealed to kaizerchiefs.com that the Club is in talks with Platinum Stars over the services of goalkeeper, Wayne Sandilands.
