Apologies to our Gold Card Members
Apologies to our Gold Card Members

The club would like to apologise unreservedly to all our Gold Card members who were inconvenienced during the Soweto derby due to some serious communication break down with our security.

While the security is aware that the Gold Card entitles supporters to all our home league games, the was a communication break down that came as a result of the Coca-Cola Cup. With cup games, Gold Card members usually pay for entry in the stadium.

With the Coca-Cola Cup and the derby played back to back, our security got things confused and charged our Gold Card members R20 entry fee. We unreservedly apologise to our supporters for this. Because of the manner in which we value our supporters, we really feel embarrassed by this.

We have kept a register of all our Gold Card members as we usually do with all our home games. As a matter of fact we will invite them to come back for our game against Santos at FNB Stadium 18:00 kick-off.

The Gold Card members will be reimbursed the money they were charged for the Pirates game. In addition we will then usher them in to the Super Suite as a treat that shows our regret for that inconvenience. Gold Card members are our elite group of supporters and we really feel embarrassed at this development.

We started today (Monday) to sell tickets for the Santos game, which takes place at FNB Stadium and kick-off at 18:00. Our supporters have shown positive response to the call for pre-sales and we are very impressed with that. On the same note we congratulate those who won the R25 000 including the Pirates supporter.
