Kaizer Chiefs in partnership with Vodacom, ventured in a joint mass mobilization and roadside marketing campaign ahead of Saturday night’s eagerly awaited ABSA Premiership thriller against the log leaders and defending champions, SuperSport United.

Thousands of football enthusiasts are expected to catch a fun-filled road show that is also loaded with promotional giveaways from cell phone hampers, t-shirts and free tickets to the Chiefs-SuperSport game at Loftus.

This public relations and marketing crusade has commenced today in the areas of Mamelodi (East and West), Nellmapius and will hit the streets of Soshanguve, Mabopane, Pretoria Central before coming to the heart of Soweto, in Jabulani Mall respectively.

The campaign is among other things, aimed at showcasing a value adding relationship between Chiefs and Vodacom while spoiling the public with the unforgettable experience of being part of the Amakhosi Family, in particular the Supporters Club. A similar campaign took place in Attridgeville and had preceded what looked like a true manifestation of South Africa’s passion for the game of football when Amakhosi logged horns with Siwelele at the Super Stadium.

All of those who will take an advantage of this golden opportunity are guaranteed a share of the lucrative prizes to be won. In addition to the five Chiefs hampers, traditionally won on the match day, three cellular phone hampers are up for grabs during half time and all you need to do is to secure your seat at the stadium, arrive on time and proudly don your gold and black regalia. Brigado as Brickz is fondly known is expected to steal the night and mesmerize the fans at the stadium.

An after party to this bumper weekend will go to Chiefs’ inaugural Supporters Club Multipurpose centre, popularly known as the Dhlamini Sports Complex, on Sunday morning where the Amakhosi Supporters Club’s Anniversary Celebrations will take place from 10h00 in the morning. The Who is Who of Chiefs from management; the legends, players and various artists and whose line up includes Brickz, DJ Killer, Noza and Masheleni will grace the day.

Supporters information sessions, soccer matches that will feature Chiefs development, Dhlamini Eleven, Chiefs Male Celebrity and Jozi FM combined with Soweto TV will keep the public entertained.

Attendees will have to pay NOTHING at the gate for all of this.

Measuring by the pace of ticket sales and massive pr and marketing activities ahead of this game, Chiefs management is expecting nothing less than a sold out at Loftus Stadium.

Tickets for the Chiefs vs. SuperSport are still available at Computicket and Shopritre Checkers outlets countrywide at R20.00 for adults and R10 for kids. Gates will be open at 16h00.

Come and indulge in the undying spirit of Love and Peace!
