Kaizer Chiefs will open the year with a cracker of a match against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday 8th January. The Glamour Boys will have made it into 41 years of success and glamour as Amakhosi celebrate their 41st anniversary on the 7th January.



The two Clubs are ‘sitting pretty’ at the top of the log, with Amakhosi looking to close the gap between themselves and log leaders after the tantilizing football clash.



Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung is asking supporters to get their tickets and to make sure that they do not miss this mouthwatering encounter: “The match against Sundowns on Saturday is a special one for us, we will have just turned 41 and will also be welcoming our fans and supporters back from their holidays and the festive season.”



“Kaizer Chiefs supporters have Amakhosi Mojo and we want them to continue to show it, they should attend the game and bring their families. We want to create an Amakhosi Family experience for our supporters, so we want mothers and fathers to bring their Junior Khosi’s along!”



The Marketing Department are making sure that the home game experience is exciting and have lined up entertainment for the day. Current local ‘Musical First Lady’, Winnie Khumalo will represent the Amakhosi with her bevy of beautiful dancers as well as resident DJ Tokzen who will make sure the supporters hear their favourite tracks on the day.



Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom will be continuing with their fan campaigns, while Kaizer Chiefs are asking fans to show their Amakhosi Mojo, Vodacom will be looking for those who will be ‘Pushing their Passion’. Half-time give aways will include Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom hampers for fans and supporters who make sure that they show their Love and Peace. Create your own costumes or wear your authentic merchandise, wear your colours and be the voice behind your team!



The Supporters Club crew will be at the stadium. The team will set up inside Gate K, Turnstyle 17 on the South side of the stadium to make sure that fans who want to be a part of the Family are able to do so on match day.



Club vehical sponsor will activate inside the stadium perimeter on the day. The Nissan Team will have cars on display at Turnstyle 17 and they will also be providing information to eager fans and supporters on the cars and product available as well as letting the fans know about their up and coming ‘Shift and Win’ competition.



Kaizer Chiefs Financial Services will have footsoldiers in and around the same area as the ASC and Nissan Teams, make sure to engage them with any queries around this partnership between Kaizer Chiefs and Hollard. Hollard footsoldiers will be giving out fliers and giving information on the Financial Services so fans know how to sign up and get full cover for their loved ones.



Gates open at 11:00 on Saturday with an afternoon kick-off at 15:30.
