growth. Kaizer Chiefs brand promise “Amakhosi 4 life” means that youth is an integrated part of the Kaizer Chiefs experience all the way from the players on the field to supporters in the stands.

The Amakhosi Supporters Club offers five tiers catering for the needs of all our supporters. The Youth card is specifically designed to meet the needs of young people. The card costs R50 per year and has a young edgy approach.

Kaizer Chiefs recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Umsobomvu Youth Fund (UYF) and SAY card to help unlock the synergy that exists between the two brands.

The Amakhosi Supporters Club Youth members have automatic membership to the services and products of the SAY card.

Kaizer Chiefs actively supports UYF initiatives in local communities and have participated in the UYF “Start Here” campaign in Kwa Thema on the 13th and 14th of March. The Amakhosi Supporters Club interacted with approximately 2 000 high school students over the two days.

The event was held at a community hall in Kwa Thema and local high schools were invited to attend the workshop which included a number of exhibitors interacting with the students about career options and other youth related services and products. The students were divided into groups and had an opportunity of spending 15 minutes with each exhibitor.

The love and passion young people feel about Kaizer Chiefs is overwhelming and the students really enjoyed the time they spent at the Amakhosi Supporters Stand.
