Amakhosi SuperSport agree on Mkhonza transfer

Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United agreed late on Friday afternoon to the terms surrounding the sale of Kaizer Chiefs defender Siphiwe Mkhonza to United, Mkhonza who was placed on the transfer list by Chiefs just over a week ago has been sold outright by Chiefs to SuperSport.



Upon the conclusion of the deal which sees the former Bafana Bafana defender leave Chiefs to join Matsantsa Amakhosi team manager Bobby Motaung bode Mkhonza farewell and added, “we hope that Siphiwe is happy at his new team and we take this opportunity to thank him for all the success that he brought to Kaizer Chiefs. We would like to wish him well at SuperSport, we are happy that he has found a new team” along with Mkhonza Chiefs placed Serge Djiehoua, David Radebe, Gert Schalkwyk, Scara Ngobese and Patrick Mayo, Louis Agyemang also on the transfer list. As at the close of business on Friday Mkhonza was the only one of the group to have concluded a move away from Naturena.
